This is an awesome system, I have already found where to record and everything... I just got a Line 6 POD UX2 for Christmas and this is what came with it... (Live Lite 7, and a few more CD's, But I like this one.) Anyway... for a few days I had the sound going on it and then just yesterday I go into the program to record some stuff and I can't hear anything coming from the program (The stuff I recorded and crap...) I can hear everything that my guitar plays and everything is working on my computer I can hear through my speakers just fine... All it is, is just that problem... Can anyone help me, Please?

sup dude. This problem can be SO many things but is most assuredly something simple.
You always want to know your signal path. Digital stuff can be confusing because you can't always see the path with your eyes, so you have to read the manual. Live yes, and the POD manual. The guitar pedals have different modes for routing things internally, make sure you have that correct.
Start there, lemme know!

Well for one... The Live Lite 7, did not come with a manual, not even the POD Studio UX2 came with a simple manual telling me how to even connect it to the computer and get everything working... I had to go onto YouTube to figure it out... Anyway, I had it working for the past few days and then BOOM, I guess I touched something and I must of muted something and now it wouldn't let me hear anything otherwise... Any more ideas... I know for a fact that all my connects are connected(I think
), all my drivers are up to date on all my systems, etc.

And for two, I don't use foot petals... I have a Cry Baby upstairs in my room but that's it... The rest of my foot petals that I use are on the POD Farm program (Which is the UX2.)It has all those things and more right in the program... All I have connected to my computer is:
- The Pod Studio UX2 to my computer
- One cable going from the UX2 to my amp...
- One cable going from the UX2 to my guitar...
- And the occasional headphone jack into my amp and listening to it through my headphones because my parents are complaining about the noise...
And again, I had it working for the longest time (A few days) and then it just stopped...
Any ideas?

The connection issue would be digital probably. I would assume uve got ur cables plugged in, especially if uve got sound.
You can acces the live manual through the help manual as a pdf.
I think the problem is a setting in the POD.
Another issue to check in LIVE. Go to ur "preferences" and in the audio tab, make sure the POD is selected as the audio in and audio out.

Now... How do I record stuff, like play a little guitar, record that and then put it in Live Lite 7 and add effects like drums, bass, etc...
Yes I know you record in Live lite 7, how do I do that tho... I click the record button and nothings recording...

what fixed it exactly?GuitarzMyThing wrote:WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT It worked Thank you Thank You Thank You!!![]()

you need to record enable your guitars channel before you hit the global record button, in order to actually "record" something.

Re: No Sound on Live Lite 7 (Using Line 6 POD UX2) Help please!
Well in the Live Lite 7 what I did was I went Options > Prefences > Audio Tab >
And then in the Audio Input Device, I set it to "Digitalln (Realtek High Definition Audio) DX"
And then I also set the Audio Output Device to "Speakers (Realtek High Definiti Wave"
I hope this is what you wanted to know...
PS. When you said set your Audio Input/Output or something to the Line 6 POD UX2 on the Live Lite it didn't have anything on the scroll down on both Input and Output scrolls saying anything about setting it to the POD... Not sure if this will help you figure it out but just wanted to say it

Re: No Sound on Live Lite 7 (Using Line 6 POD UX2) Help please!
Can anyone help me with recording on Live Lite 7 using a Line 6 POD Farm UX2 program also, or show me where a manuel is or something?
Re: No Sound on Live Lite 7 (Using Line 6 POD UX2) Help please!
Guitarz - Have you registered the UX2 with Line 6, and set up an account with them yet? On their web page is a manual you can download (PDF) for the UX2... and (just to give you an idea what to expect) it's CRAP... but that's all there is. There is supposed to be some funky sequence where you launch Pod Farm as a stand-alone application, then tie it into Live via the "ToneDirect" app.
It was cryptic, baffling, and utterly bogus. I just ended up telling Live to monitor the UX 2, went to Hardware Setup and opened the UX2 settings window, and set the UX2 inputs to guitar.
In my opinion, Line 6 really screwed me with the UX2 - I bought mine in November. A guy shouldn't need to work so hard to get sound into his friggin' DAW as L6 seems to want me to have to do. On top of that, Pod Farm doesn't even have a friggin' TUNER in it - I need to keep unplugging and using my strobe! I gave up on Pod Farm, and bought Guitar Rig instead - it has everything I want, and waaaay more control.
So - the best I can offer you (assuming you don't use the "Tone Direct" method) is:
1. Make sure all your wiring ensures signal gets from your axe to the UX2 (duh!)
2. In AL, go to the hardware input options, hardware setup, and get to the page where the UX2 control window opens
3. In the UX2 panel, click the "Inputs" tab and make sure you select the appropriate option (Guitar, line, whatever you're doing)
4. Click Apply and Okay
5. Double check in the UX2 panel to see what your meters are set to monitor... and set them to "inputs" - just a visual confirmation that sound is getting to the UX2 in the first place
6. Back in AL, make sure that your track inputs are set to "ext In" and "1-2", and that the track is armed, and monitor is "Auto"
7. On your Master channel, make sure the outputs are set correctly to "1-2"
By now, you should have sound, I hope!
Holler if not, and I'll see what I can do to help.
Cheers, bud!
