controller knobs slow response

on abelton 8 with my juno d, when i want to contol via midi, the keystrokes are fine, no lag issue(new pc 4gb ram, new audiopile 2496 card) , the controllers knobs, when i wan to control the volume or pan etc are taking time to respond and behind the game, just learned how to midi map last night. I would have thought the mid would be the same transfer rate for keystrokes and knobs, could this roblem be related to the legato clip launch feature, is abelton trying to quantise the knob?

selecting 1/32 quantise seems to have resolved problem.

For the knobs, have you experimented with the different pick up modes in the midi preferences? Like if the knobs last value was 127 and your controller in Live is say, 37, the knob won't take effect until you turn the knob to 37 from 127. So it will appear not to work until you hit the value in Live.

1. Are you controlling these parameters on the clip itself or on the channel?

2. Are you using an ASIO audio interface?
