APC40 select on launch record broken again

edit: The first two bugs are only if the clip being launched from the apc40 is in the current scene.

If you launch a clip from the apc40 on a armed audio track it rarely selects that track. Also the apc40 is not receiving proper clip status red led lights blinking in this instance as well. For example put the global quantize in lets say 4 bars so you can see this better. Now start the sequencer, arm an audio track, select away from that track(say master track), now launch a clip for recording and look at the clip blinking in ableton as opposed to the apc40(not blinking red). Sometimes the apc40 will not show the clip blinking green after you push the button again to play the recorded clip, nor is the track selected on record only after the second press for playback. In 8.0.9 the clips on the apc40 blink just like the gui clips and the track is selected immediately on record. Its nice when your recording to just press a button on the clip launch grid and see the blinking red light so you know when its actually going to start to record, and when your done recording that clip its been selected so you can use your apc40 foot pedal to punch out of the clip and see it blinking green and then go to solid green playback. Seems to happen mostly when there's only one clip in the track. This will not work with 8.1 or 8.1.1

Upon further testing the first two problems I mentioned(blinking red led feedback and track selection not working) seem to occur only when the clip being launched from the apc40 is in the highlighted scene. The clip not blinking green when going from clip record(red) to play(green) seems to happen regardless if the clip is in the current scene or not.

Recording Midi clips is suffering the first bug as well(not blinking red and track selection upon launch), but like I mentioned if launched from the apc40 and the the clip is in the current scene. The midi clips fortunately do not have the second bug(not blinking green when going back to playback the clip, or in the case of midi with the ovr enabled, blinking red then solid red)

I'm using 8.1.1, and I don't have any of those problems with the APC40.

Best way to see these problems is to have a set with just one scene and maybe one audio and one midi track. So your on the current scene.

@kb420 If you could verify it would be great, I hope this was just my problem. Please try this open a set with just one scene, one audio and one midi track. Set you global to like 4 bars to see the launch issue easier, and start the sequencer. Now arm either track with your apc40 then track select away from it, say, master so you can see if the track is selected upon launch. Also watch the clip launch button is not blinking as it should pre launch. You will notice the other things I described all as well if you have one of these bugs.

Ok. I see what you mean. I don't see how that's an issue for me personally, but I can confirm what you are saying.

The clip on the APC doesn't blink red like it does on the screen, and that track isn't selected, but that track's detail view is the one on the screen.

@kb420 Thanks for the verification. Yeah its huge for me because I need the pre launch and post launch indication on the apc40 for timing. As I launch the clip on the apc40 and then while I play my instruments trigger the clip with my foot pedal hooked up to FS2(launch highlighted clip) on the apc40. This can only work with select on launch working properly. Thanks again, sure the abe's will correct it.

I posted in the 8.1.x bugs forum too. Before you verified I was hoping it was just my system setup.

With these updates it seems like the Abes are taking one step forward, and two steps back.

In 8.0.1, my MPD 32's transports worked fine. In 8.0.3 they didn't.

Still broken in 8.1.2b4. I can't understand either how basic functionality that's working up to 8.0.9 can not be fixed easily.
