Any new DJ bags?
Re: Any new DJ bags?
I've been going in circles around the same question and have arrived at this http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/500/TB0104
Get's rave reviews on the ruggedness, I just need to know if it fits a 17" MBP, APC, FF400 and the other bits'n'pieces of a mobile setup and then it's just the struggle with customs to get it shipped directly from the US.
Mail sent to the company and if anything returns i'll post here.

Re: Any new DJ bags?
I got the Headliner limited edition Ableton backpack for getting around the city. It's all black and very non-eyecatching. I like that.
I'm about to pick up a Pelican 1510 for air travel. It's a heavy duty plastic case that fits onto planes as a carry-on item. The magic of the 1510 is that if you get asked to check the bag (which is unavoidable sometimes) it will survive being stored in the cargo of the plane, and protect your kit. It's got good handles and good wheels.
Here's a laptop-ready version:

And here's one with dividers (that I'm waiting for more stock to come in so I can buy one):
