I just downloaded the latest update 4.1.1, and (I think) I read in the release notes that the MIDI latency has improved. However, I haven't figured out how to do this. Either that, or I'm just not realizing that the timing is perfect.
Can someone point out to me specifically how the MIDI latency changed in this update? It's rather important to me since I use both audio loops and hardware synths. I hate having to put a 20ms delay on a send track.
Thanks!
Stupid question about MIDI latency in 4.1.1 update

Hi the_planet,
the only issue related to MIDI latency was:
=============================
Bug: Latency compensation field
"There was an rounding problem with the latency
compensation field in the audio preferences. "
=============================
Maybe the bug description was not clear enough. There was only a rounding problem in the view. You could enter something like -2 and the next time you opened the preferences you could read -1.
So Live 4.1.1 did not change the the MIDI latency behavior.
Or do you refer to another bug / improvement?
regards,
Alex
