I have a line that overlaps two scenes. So if I record my clip in the scene, the end get's cut.
How do I approach this in session view? Or am I stuck recording in Arrangement view?
can I merge two scenes?

Re: can I merge two scenes?
I'd record the track in arrangement view, edit it to your liking, consolidate it, then drag or copy and paste it to a new scene/track in session view.
Re: can I merge two scenes?
Another trick you can do it group the two tracks, create a new audio track, route the input of that new audio track to the output of the group track you wish to record and your all set! Just write that down into 1 wav! Just have to mix it before you do it!
Re: can I merge two scenes?
Did you try to remove the stop button on the next scene below that clip?
I'm guessing it would keep go:
Scene A (records)
Scene B (doesn't stop recording)
Hit other scene or scene A again (replays or plays other clip and stops recording)

I'll try removing the stop button, if I can.
I ended up running Live as a rewire slave, and recorded vocals in a host DAW.
That may be my work flow, as I notice artifacts when I record live acoustic audio with Live. But not my other DAW.
