dotted-note delays with simple delay?

Post by mholloway » Sat Jan 09, 2010 3:09 am

Anybody have any ideas/tips on acheiving dotted-note (namely a dotted-eigth) delay timing with live tools? Or if not, and you're doing this, what plug-in are you using?

I want to get that U2/pink floyd bouncing style effect...

I also have the PSP lexicon 84 unit but haven't dug into it much, probably a way to do it there I'm thinking...

thanks,

Dotted means length of the note plus half so (since the box in delay shows 16ths) a dotted eight would be "3".
You could have worked that out by listening and I take it you don't read music, or the Live manual.
