MORE DEMO SONGS!

Post by Machinate » Tue Mar 15, 2005 7:03 pm

Right, now that I have your attention I'll calm down :)

I've been thinking about this for a while now, actually since I bought Live4.
The demo-songs don't even come close to revealing what this amazing piece of software can do.
So I decided to make some alternative demo songs, that use the 100 meg soundset, that comes with the program.

here's the first one of the series:
Demo Song 1

It covers the mock-granular you can do with the simpler, and also creative techniques for the freeze-function of the reverb.

Have fun!

Andreas

I like the reverb freeze too...
Good shot!
Almost every button on Simpler moving.
You had me download the full 4.1.1, I had to free some disk space.

Thanks

Thanks for posting this demo! I'm fairly new to Live and appreciate seeing what it can do in the hands of a skilled user.

ALL demo songs in the starter sets in 4.1.1 uses ONLY audio clips and ONE ping pong delay (each).
So, machinate, your mission is clear!

Yeah. But that kind of defeats the purpose of demo songs, doesn't it?
Otherwise they would just be songs.
Posting them is a whole other story. Webspace is needed for that. And lots of it
These demo songs use the samples from the Live 100mb package, because we can....

hehe, fair enough

In the meantime, you guys can listen to this little choon:

Second Demo Song

BTW this one deals with some of the interesting aspects of the resonator and also shows a cool way of using warp markers to do fake overdubbing
Enjoy!
