apc40 akai professional edition

hello, i am wondering what a person can update to from the version of software that comes with the apc40. i see the potenial upgrades on the website, but i dont see anything about the apc40 akai professional edtion option for upgrade.

The version that comes with the apc is Live Lite (these are the ones that come with controlers, so you have an akai edition, novation edition, behringer, m-audio...which are sometimes slightly different, ie different ammount of scenes/tracks/etc, but all count as Lite edition for upgrade purposes)

If you have your akai version registered in your account on the ableton.com website and go the Shop -> upgrades it should give you the pricing for upgrading your version to live full/suite download/boxed.

dexes is right. i registered the copy of live 7 LE (APC edition) which drove me crazy as it only lets you have 8 tracks. if it is registered then you get a big discount on the full version if you go to the sales page. i think the 10 year birthday sale is finishing very soon if it hasn`t already. makes it really cheap cheap way to get a full version on live 8!
