i reckon we should start some sort of sub forum dedicated purely to light shows made on launchpad.

i'm gonna start mine tomorrow and post the midi on here or something so you can all see it.

its the tits. i started by copying and pasting a load of notes across the keyboard to make a huge chord then tried out the different arpeggiator styles and watching the rave ensue.

the really cool thing is if you play with velocities is changes the colours.

What someone needs to do is create a bunch of standard shapes/animations in seperate midi clips like (sparkles, ripples, rain, lines, smile faces, pokeballs, stars, the alphabet, squares, triangles, ect ect) and then put all different shapes(midi clips) online for download so you don't need to draw in every single part of your light show, you can just copy and paste from the already drawn midi files (shapes/animations)
Does this make sense???
So like post a file which contains a bunch of clips. Each clip is named after the light shape that is drawn so you will have clips that say stuff like (rain) (sparkle) (circles) or whatever is made!
I think this would be great and take away a lot of the meticulous work of creating certain shapes on the launchpad.
