Post by joneblaze » Thu Jan 14, 2010 3:29 am

hey guys, can anyone suggest a quality dvd tutorial for ableton live 8? I just bought those askvideo tutorials, they looked like they may be good, but when they arrived they were not compatible with snow leopard. thanks.

What exactly was not "compatible" about them?

Or have I just been spammed?

i could not get them to play on my new macbook pro running snoe leopord and quicktimeX(10). they said they would work with quicktime 7 or higher. I also loaded a quicktime 7 version especially for snow leopord. when i try to open the file the quicktime player opens, but when you hit play you dont see video. I heard from someone else it may not be compatible with snow leopard. I tried and tried i couldnt get it to work. I keep emailing the askvideo web-site to ask if they have had anyone able to make it work with snow leopord, but i am getting no reply. Its a shame i think i am gonna have to return them. Do you know something i dont

Might be a QuickTime 10 problem. What are the video file types?

cant be just quicktime10 because i downloaded the quicktime 7 for snow leopord and the same thing. Not totallysure on the file type because i opened one up using movie inspector, and it said AAC file, the get info.. said something 3, then i copied the files from the dvd to my hard drive they all have the .mov ext.

This will help you make beats in Live 8. Goes over loading samples up etc as well. Not a replacement for the manual by any means however. :)

I'm not even a guy. I am a prince from a small nation in Nigeria. I was left 70 million dollars by my father, but the only way I can get it out of an international bank account is if you buy this video. With each video, you are given a code to access the bank account and withdraw 5 million dollars. This is no joke, you are a winner! Image
