howdy all,
recently upgraded to Live 8. Im using 8.0.6 as it seems to be the most stable on my system. However, i've come across a few problems. With a bunch of my previously-warped tracks, the markers are incorrect... and im getting train-wrecks when I play.
I know these tracks were correctly warped in Live 7, and i've saved the markers to the clips .asd file, but when I open them in Live 8, i seem to get mumbo jumbo markers often.
Do I have to re-warp anything I want to play in Live 8?
cheers

Hi samtastic,
your Live 7 markers should be read correctly. Which operating system do you use? Do you have the latest version of Quicktime installed?
Best,
Jörg

Im using OS X 10.5.8, and Quicktim 7.6.4 - which is the latest version (i had no idea QT could affect Ableton)

Hi Sam,
Live is using Quicktime to decode compressed file formats such as MP3 or AAC. However, QT (or a missing QT installation) is rather a Windows issue sometimes.
What format do the problematic files have? Do you still have Live 7 installed on your system, if so: can you reproduce the problem with a new, warped file after transferring it to Live 8?
Best,
Jörg
