about midi

Hye !
I 'm a Reason user.
With the demo of Live, rewire is ok !
But is there a way to record midi in Live directly and that midi notes were send to midi ouput ?
but maybe it's not the Live philosophy ?

Hi Eric, this is not possible (yet). Right now, Live is a pure audio sequencer.

Live is a midi sequencer and audio aswell. In your midi track - change out put to reason. in the next drop down box put in the instrument you want to send the midi to. Now hit record in reason - make sure you activate record button in reason on that instrument first sorry - on you go.

LOL Yes you`re right - Live is a Midi/Audio Sequencer now, but in 2002 Gerhard was right. (See the date of the posting)
