Audio glitches when using bank select cursor on APC40

asus a6ja (1.8 GHz, 2gig RAM, WindowsXP)
motu ultralite
launchpad and bitstream3x controllers
mostly midi clips and hardware.


i actually managed to improve things slightly - by turning REMOTE off on all MIDI INs and OUTs
(except where absolutely necessary, on the Bitstream's IN)
^ had read somewhere that this is where the problem may lie - too much midi info clogging things up.

it's still not 100%, but a noticeable improvement.
hopefully stable enough not to have too many major hiccups during performance...
(good thing this set's a bit glitch to begin with)
