just got this email, you've all prob seen it but the features look mighty good in project 5, i'm thinking Live, P5, and FL is a great combo.

I'm pretty enthused too..I used to use P5 quite a bit, but Live seemed to move in an take over. Live and Sonar are my main tools now, but P5V2 is looking pretty strong.

I spent a lot of time with Kinetic until Stylus RMX came along. I think Cakewalk is pretty good in general. I get down to Chicago every few months to the Cakewalk user group meeting, which is led by a Cakewalk techie...pretty good, lots of tips, always free.

reason beater, for sure, i'm severely un-impressed with reasons update. 'super routing'..so what
mastering efx...so what
super browser.... so what

most people have all of this in check already, i mean the only folks who really need that stuff are folks that mostly use reason.

the feature set of p5 is looking quite nice, actualy i hope ableton takes stock of the ideas cakewalk are implementing and bites the hell out of them, and if they do it in the ableton way it would make it all the more better. cakewalk is one company that really has its finger on the pulse of its users, ,,, anyway I don't know any other app that needs folder tracks more than Live does, I think Live needs all of p5s new features way more than p5
