hello everybody.
in my current set, a little red, automation dot has appeared recently in the time signature numerator window. i don't know how this red dot got there, but i would love to know how to delete it. i have checked all of the clips in the set, and all of them have the same, 4/4 signature. i have also checked the live 8 manual, was asking other live users, but i did not find out, why... because by nature, i am a stubborn kid, i am asking YOU, dear live users: do you know how to delete this red little dot from my time signature numerator?
kind regards to all live worshipers,

HOW TO GET RID OF TIME SIGNATURE AUTOMATION?
Re: HOW TO GET RID OF TIME SIGNATURE AUTOMATION?
Hi,
To delete the time signature automation, go to arrangement view and have a look near the top of the screen between the beat time ruler and the scrub area. There'll be a triangle indicator there every time the time signature changes. If you right click on any one of these it gives you the option to delete all time signature changes.
As to why it happened... did you maybe name any of your scenes with something like 4/4 or 3/4 in the name? Live will recognise those names and change the time signature accordingly when you launch that scene. Works the same for changing tempo (e.g. if you name your scene "126BPM")...

Re: HOW TO GET RID OF TIME SIGNATURE AUTOMATION?
This works with most automations, including global tempo change in the master track, but I don't think it works with time signature automation...ShelLuser wrote:The little red dot (more of a square IMO) denotes automation. It tells you that the control is being changed in the current arrangement. Press tab, you should see some red lines and such there, that is what's controlling your stuff.
Anyway; removing is dead easy. Right click on the control; you'll see 2 options to show the automation, one to return to default and finally one to delete the automation.
