More options in user remote scripts
More options in user remote scripts
I think that it would be great if we could set up more stuff for remote control in
the script. You can achieve a lot by setting certain controllers up as Mackie
emulations, but remote control would be a lot easier if we didn't have to do
that. Imagine the possibility of having any CC do pretty much anything you
please, like launching the selected clip, move to the next clip,
activate/deactivate metronome and overdub, etc., etc. If you dedicate one
midi channel to remote control of such features, the CC's are still free for
other stuff on a different channel.
In fact, to make this all even easier, we should be able to map it all out in
midi edit mode inside Live, and subsequently save the template, rather than
typing it into a text document. It would make instant mapping even more ...
instant.

Re: More options in user remote scripts
I agree with this post. I've been into making my own User Remote Scripts, but wish I could assign a scene up, down and launch in the script, but this can not be done. It would be really cool if we could get APC type functions in a User Remote Script. I also wish my Korg Pad Kontrol could act an APC, with a 4x4 grid for launching scenes and clips.sporkles wrote:I think that it would be great if we could set up more stuff for remote control in

Re: More options in user remote scripts
Hey guys just came across this post and maybe you can help me out!
How do you set up the "banks" feature in the user remote scripts exactly? I've tried assigning to a midi CC and can't get it to work. Otherwise the user script I made for my Novation X Station is working perfectly.
I just really want to control track arm with the 8 buttons and volume with the 8 faders on my controller.
Thanks!!

Dude, you have to get the pKc Series by nativeKontrol. You're seriously missing out. It will open a new world of pk use. I'm loving it.I also wish my Korg Pad Kontrol could act an APC, with a 4x4 grid for launching scenes and clips.
Otherwise, check out Clyphx and other apps put out by nativeKontrol. I'm confident 90% of your problems will be answered.
