Possible with Dummy Clips?
1. Is there any way to have multiple tracks of dummy clips affecting one track? Seems like the envelope parameters are only available on the track that houses the effects themselves. I'd like to have a matrix of dummy clips across my APC40, all controlling one main Effects Rack. Doesn't seem to be possible, even in Group Tracks.
2. Is it possible to do a momentary (gate) trigger mode with dummy clips? And have parameter values return to a default set of values upon stopping the clip? This can be done via Follow Actions to a 'dry' dummy clip, except a specific duration must be set.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Possible with Dummy Clips?
If you draw the automation you need into the first 1.8th of the dummy clip with it returning to dry after that, change the launch status to repeat and quantize to 1.8th and then when you hold the button down it'll effect the signal but when you let go the clipo will advance to become the dry clip (you'll probably set a loop after the first 1.8th i assume....

Re: Possible with Dummy Clips?
I think that is what I was looking for. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks.
Edit: This method works like a charm. I set a clip 1/8th in length. First 16th has the automation, and the second 16th everything is reset. There is no need to loop the clip, as long as it is triggered in repeat mode.
PS - Your M4L patches look incredible. I can't wait to get it so I can check them out.
Thanks.

Re: Possible with Dummy Clips?
Thanks for the links Jon. Great info, but I'm trying to figure out if I can get multiple tracks of clips to control the same Effects Rack. Unfortunately, I'm learning this is not possible. I may have to duplicate Racks across multiple tracks and chain their outs/ins to achieve this.
Re: Possible with Dummy Clips?
What i do is create a group and then have a rack in each track within the group then mapping the launch of the group clip you can combine lots of different effects at the same time....
