It's like Novation's speed dial built into a wireless mouse that can lock itself to controls. I can see this being a useful addition to an iPad touchOSC setup when you just need to have that tactile feel.

Speed dial has never worked for me except for running through the presets of a plug in. Would this thing really work ?

Cool ... I would simply love to have one of these sitting around in my kitchen so that I can control the volume of itunes on the living room PC when I am cooking ... It would look lovely sitting next to my chopping board. other than that I can't see much use for it .........
