looper reverse button unassignable (8.1.1-8.1.2b4)

i am having trouble assigning Looper's reverse button to any midi notes. everything else works fine... record, clear, undo, pitch up/down all of it except for reverse. i went back and tried it in Live 8.0.1 and it works just fine.
anyone else having these issues or know what the problem could be?

working fine over here. Are you able to map it to a key using keymapping on your machine?
