I have a lot of problems with Live 6 crashing using Snow Leopard. It happens usually if I change the warping quality to "Complex" on an audio clip, especially if the clip is playing, sometimes if I change the gain of a clip or move a playing clip to a different cell on another track. It also happened once when I turned off the preview button while a song was previewing in the browser.
I do occasionally run a Novation Nocturn Keyboard, so the Automap software kicks in when I launch Live, even if the keyboard isn't connected. Could this be causing a problem? I'm not sure how to stop it from launching.
I used to get crashing problems with Live 6 and Leopard, but these seemed to sort themselves out with subsequent updates. Didn't really use Live much when I had Leopard so can't report any issues.
Is anyone else having similar problems with a similar setup? Is it likely that an upgrade to Live 8 will help? Does version 8 work better with Snow Leopard? Or is my computer just too poor to run the show?
Setup is:
Black macbook 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB 667MHz DDR2, 250GB HD, OSX 10.6.2, Apogee Duet, M-Audio Trigger Finger.
All Apple, Ableton and Novation updates installed.
Many Thanks in advance

Re: Live 6 + Snow Leopard
....I tell a lie about the updates! I've got Live 6.0.1. Just seen 6.0.11 in the Latest versions section so I'll have a go with that, though judging by the Snow Leopard FAQ it's not supported anyway.
Can anyone clarify this?
