Disabling Specific Tracks From Scene Launch

Post by dcondax » Thu Feb 04, 2010 10:40 pm

Hi Everyone!

Within my live template I have two tracks that i use for resampling and for keeping clips that I might choose to use or lose. (like a bin, or clipboard)

is there any way to disable these tracks from receiving a "launch" message from the master scene launch button.

^ in case this wasn't clear.

My sets contain 5 audio tracks and 3 midi tracks. i use these to make music. scenes are launched.

They also contain two extra tracks (1 audio, 1 midi) for holding my ideas, extra and unused clips.

I don't want the clips in my two extra tracks to launch when i click a scene launch button.

can this be done?

love and peace everybody.

Hi, have you tried the "remove stop button" option (right-click in the session view clip slot) ?

thanks for your reply, unfortunately it doesn't do the job. if i was to insert a clip, it still launches.

for now i have the tracks muted. however i'm trying to minimize cpu usage and clutter.

thanks again,

di
