Midi keyboard isnt working???NEWB

Hello, I have had Live for about 3 weeks... I made about 10 tracks so far without even using my M-Audio Radium 49 keyboard... I have a 2496 soundcard.. I have 2 midi cables hooked up... then in the midi from option I pick delta AP midi.. I have atmosphere plugged in and I still cant get sound from my keyboard nor can I assign any effects to my knobs... Am I doing something wrong or what?

Have you assigned it as a remote control?...if so...have you activated the midi on the midi track you are trying to control the instrument on?You probably have but if not...there is a button at the bottom of each midi track which activates midi control for that specific track.
