Seems like a good space saver. How heavy do they go? I would probably want up to 65 lbs for each dumbell.

Also UK Russ's advice is very sound. I would agree with everything he has said.

So is the concept of adjustable weights a bad one or just that set in particular? These things don't run cheap but I think the space saved and potential weights used would make them a winner. Don't know from experience though.ChiDJ wrote:Those are crap! I have them at my clinic. Overpriced crap.beats me wrote:Any opinions on adjustable weights like these

A lot of good information and sites to check out in this thread. At first I was thinking it would be kind of lame checking out workout routines streaming on my laptop, but I totally forgot about the computer hooked up to the projector in the living room. That will also allow my roommate to make constant "fag" comments as he passes by to grab another beer out of the fridge. Everybody wins.

That set is poorly made and will fall apart within months.

FTW!
Doesn't take up a lot of space and quite manly.

What am I? A vendor? Sure they're pricy. But you can't put a price on physical beauty!

What are you talking about? Men fork over set sums of money to be with physical beauty all the time.ChiDJ wrote:What am I? A vendor? Sure they're pricy. But you can't put a price on physical beauty!![]()

Ha! (I know this man!

Besides, the more green you shell out, the less likely you'll be to use it as a clothing rack in 3 months.

Plus since I don't own a gun and if I keep this in my room it would really help out in those home invasion situations. I just had a "what if" examination of my room the other day and determined that everything in my room is either too small and lightweight, too big and unwieldy, or too expensive to hurl at uninvited guests. A rack of weights would really have the advantage here. "Skull crushing blow" comes to mind for the news segment.

I do body wieght exercises. One leg squats, pull ups, chin ups, push ups and leaning against the wall upside down push ups. My cardio sucks though. The navy seals guide to fitness will have all you need to know about getting in shape from start to super stud and the body weight exercises if my horrible memory is correct.
