Decoding Cache not full but live keeps redrawing

Hi all

A little frustrated here, i have plenty of room in the decoding cache but when i drag sets that I use often into live, it still redraws some of the files, i would think that it would save all files until it filled up, but it never does and the redraw slows everything down, i have set up the cache to no maximum but set it to 50gb minimum, i have a 500gig internal. Does Live think my HD is smaller than it is? any help would be appreciated
