Complete Options.txt command list?
I know this has been asked before, and I have searched alot of threads for an answer but can't find one.
Is there a complete list of the available commands for the options.txt file?
I saw a old list in this thread that someone managed to rip from the binary - http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=113690. I am not sure how relevant some of these are anymore, since that appears to be for Live 4.1.2.
The Ableton FAQ only covers a handful of these and looking through the forum I can see quite a few not listed there (such as the problem Tom Cosm had recently - http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=132230)
Any power users shed some light on this one?

Re: Complete Options.txt command list?
there are only a handful that they make public, and 95% of the rest are all for internal testing purposes
the main one i see people checking out is the midi event thinning
i am not aware of a more recent list, until someone wants to know badly enough to decompile the exe and have a look
what is your goal?

Re: Complete Options.txt command list?
No goal in mind really I just started out with the Options.txt editing for my Wacom tablet, but quickly realised that there's a number of hidden commands. Wondered how many of them are actually useful etc. I work in I.T. and am just curious about hidden features like that.

you could be the one!
Re: Complete Options.txt command list?
Hi there,
after seeing this i thought it might be useful.
For all u fellow users out there that DON´T want to
have the first 32 parameters of VST´s or AU´s automatically
listed, theres a cure.
I always had the problem with effects mainly, that
the first 32 parameters got populated automatically.
And that prevented me from using the ease of the live
automapping.
So after having a nice contact with the support this one came up:
-_PluginAutoPopulateThreshold=0
put excactly this in the Options.txt.
Whereas if u write =0 nothing gets populated, u can populate the pluginparameters as u wish.
If u write =16, the first two "banks" of 8 controllers get automatically filled up, and so on!
Hope it is useful for someone in here!
Cheers
Daniel

I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

Re: Complete Options.txt command list?
Are you meaning the banks of controllers on the APC40 or any controller?
This is a great tip BTW!

hi modemasters,
this is the case for all controllers
that are configured to control devices over the "blue hand" symbol!
cheers
