help me choose please

ok im looking at 2 usb audio interfaces

Alesis Multimix 8 usb

What are you going to use it for mainly? How many inputs do you really need, do you need 4 1/4"jack/XLR inputs? IMO if you just need to plug in a guitar and mic, or something similar, I'd go with the Cakewalk, the audio quality is way better at 24/96. I've never heard/used a 16/44 but I would think it must be a noticeable difference...

i really just need rca input for my turntables, 1/4" for my guitar, and a mic input

i was just thinking maybe down the line the other inputs could come into play

i also dont know how good cakewalk is but i guess it will do. well i dont know anything about cubase either lol

and i also wasnt sure about the latency on either of them

i guess how you put the 44-96 that is a big difference and ill save some money too
