help screen potential patients for clinical trials for our drugs.. currently working more on oncology stuff. basically we get tissue samples from patients that have very poor survival rates... Basically, they have nothing to lose except maybe try some of the new drugs because even though they are still in the trial phase and are not available to the market yet and have not been approved by the FDA, it might improve what's left of their life or even extend their life.. sorry folks, no cancer cure yet.. This might sound fancy and all but it's basically a deskjob with a bunch of fancy microscopes..
If I'm not doing that, I actually go in the labs and work with some of the animals. I know i might get some heat for animal testing here, but if you've ever taken any kind of medicine, used any kind of soap, makeup, lotion, whatever.. believe me, it's animal tested.. i only work on mice/rats on my end.. more advanced drugs that have a potential of going into the market are tested on higher species at contracted sites.
all in all, I should have had enough balls to pursue a audio recording degree of some sort or anything music related when i was in school instead of listening to my family telling me to "grow up and forget this music dream"..
