Hi,
Is there a way to get the Pad Kontrol to bank through the Drum Rack banks?
Thanks,
Joey

Hi Joey,
that´s unfortunately not possible, you have to manually move the view selector in the pad overview, either by dragging it with your mouse or by using the arrow up/down keys on your computer keyboard.
Best,
Jörg

Re: Korg PadKontrol switching Drumrack banks.
Hi,
Maybe this could help. I've been searching a way to use banks of drumracks from PadKontrol and finally did it manually.
I'm using and Instrument Rack and put every drumrack i need.
Accessing the "chain" option in IR, i give every drumrack a range of different values (0-10, 11-20... for example)
Now, in map mode, I configured the first knob in IR to change "chain" parameter.
Finally, i assigned in midi mode my first knob on padkontrol to this IR knob.
=> I'm now choosing my drumrack turning first knob on padkontrol.
You can use both synths and drumracks as instruments in your Instrument Rack ...
There is a way using "User 1", "User 2" midi sends, too (i prefer the first method).
Hope it helps, and if there is a better way to do it, please let me know !
Bye
