initialization error

Hello my friends,

installed mfl in live 8.11 on w7 64bit. Everything works fine except when I try to open a patch in live I get an "Initialization Error Code: -7" Installed max 5 runtime then but same in live...

..have to add that I can open max runtime window with a rightclick.

Do you have Comodo or Panda 2010 firewalls installed? Currently there is an incompatibility with having both of these products installed and Max. The only known workaround is to uninstall the firewall applications.

Hello Ben,

yes, I'm using a comodo firewall. One of the best I think and free. I tried to disable but it doesn't help. Seems I have to look for another1 now but it would be great if the bug could be fixed.

btw..I can open mfl helpfiles outside live in max rt w/o probs...
