To get started, by day I am an electrical engineer that does technical sales for a living. Sometimes I'm worried I might not be qualified to participate in this forum.

Wish I had a day job. I've been unemployed since July.

When I actually worked, I was a Union Steamfitter. I guess I'm just a bum on the Unemployment Extension right now!!!!!

I pay the bills playing music for dance classes, composing for dance companies, and teaching electronic music.

I work for a large engineering consultancy, in the telecoms and systems division. We work on stuff like radio comms, broadband data/voice networks and so on.

Although I came in as a graduate six months ago so personally I'm mostly putting numbers into spreadsheets and replying to emails :P can't complain though, as far as 9-5's go it could be a lot worse, I can pay my rent and buy records/gear, and it actually gives me a lot of time to sit and listen to music since they're happy enough for me to put my earphones in and get on with it...
