MPC Pad Upgrade

To reduce the flames I use my MPC with Live.

I love my MPC "sort of". I have a first generation Blue MPC1000.

I am considering the pad upgrade from MPCStuff.

Is there anyone on this forum that has done this upgrade? Does the upgrade really improve the feel and usability of the MPC? Is it just marketing or is it really an actual upgrade?

i got an mp3 w/ the pad upgrade and in my opinion it was significantly better than w/o.

a little pushier and no chances of a single pad going out..i didn't like the feel of the single pads
