Is there a warp setting that adds less digital artifacts to vocals when you warp them? I notice with beat sometime the words stutter, even when the warp markers are at reasonable distances.
sometimes this effect is cool, but other times I just want the voice to fit my tempo without sounding robotic.
thanks a lot

and also, obviously beat many times sounds fine, but I was wondering if maybe it was not good for vocals in general.

The manual has information about how all the warp modes in Live work.
Beats pretty much cuts the audio into pieces at intervals. If you go faster, the pieces start to overlap. If you go slower, they begin to distance themselves. Great for beats.. really garbles up a bassline though haha.
For vocals you might want to use Complex Pro, or read up on the other modes

Best way is to try it with Beats, assuming you are not using it live. Once you start to record things in your arrangement view you can fix the artifacts by selecting those parts and disabling the warp at that moment. This will work only if tempo differences aren't too big and the total music compilation allows it. I now this can be a lot of work.
