I really need to give my music another chance. I stopped listening since my last 2 previous dissapointing releases.
Accidently liking your own music
Accidently liking your own music
I usually knowingly listen to my own music, but last night I had iTunes playing in another room on shuffle mode and after about a minute of listening to a track and not being able to remember who or what the track was I went into the room to find out and discovered it was me.
I really need to give my music another chance. I stopped listening since my last 2 previous dissapointing releases.

Post the mystery track? It was actually an unfinished track.
I've had a domain name registered for years and the only thing I've used it for is email. I have no clue about web design, structure, or programming but I was thinking at the very least I should sort out how to upload mp3s I can link to.

I've always been your biggest east coast fan.

If I could remember my goddamn soundcloud password....or even which email account I used for it I would post some scraps. Funny how they kept sending me emails about whatever but the instant I think I might want to post something there again .....nothing.
But really my point wasn't to draw attention to my own music, but to see if anybody else has had this similar experience of liking your music more when you didn't realize it was your song playing, or didn't realize it for awhile.

That happened to me once. Someone sent me a DJ mix they made of all my downtempo. Halfway through this song comes on, and I'm like "this isn't mine, wtf?". Check out the track list and sure enough, it was one of mine. Oops.
