Shortcut for bussing outputs sequentially

Post by fishermusic » Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:45 pm

Hello there,

So here is what I'd like to know. (yes I searched all over the place already with no luck.)

I'm using Live as a Rewire slave to Pro Tools. After I get all the tracks, I record each track individually via rewire into Pro Tools.

2 questions.

(a) how do I change the outputs on all Live tracks to "ReWire Out" without having to do each one and
(b) is there a way to then sequentially route each track to a separate buss (1-2, 3-4, 5-6 etc.) with one shortcut. In Pro Tools, you simple hold apple, option, shift and each track routes to a separate output.

Appreciate the help. This will be a big timesaver for me if it can be done.

Ron

No way to do it in Live but would we nice to do it the we do it in ProTools. This is just one problem I have with Live's workflow along with creating many different tracks at once.

I don't think this will select them sequentially. It will make them all the same output.

yes same output (rewire), that is what the op wants in his (a) question. :-)
