Ableton doesn't make controllers, they usually team up with another company.
I could see how Ableton and a company that makes foot pedals would be a cool match up.

If you simply want a foot pedal without anything extra why not focus on USB footpedals instead of midi pedals?
Those are already commonly available and allow you to assign the pedal to one or more keyboard shortcuts. Considering that Live also supports keyboard mapping I wonder if this couldn't provide a solution.
