The Bayerische Theaterakademie (Bavarian Theatre Academy) in Munich organizes a Ableton Live & Max for Live -Workshop from March. 12.-14.
The workshop is divided in two parts:
1) Fri. 12. & Sat.13. morning : Ableton “Live”, held by Christian Kleine ( Ableton);
2) Sat.13. afternoon & Sun. 14: “Max for Live”, held by Emmanuel Jourdan (Cycling '74)

Saturday Afternoon:
- General Overview of Max for Live
- What comes with Max for Live
- Max for Live UI objects
- building Audio Effects
Sunday Morning:
- building MIDI Effects devices
- Automation and Presets
- making your own Instruments
Sunday Afternoon
- Live.API: controlling the Live interface
- Using control from the outside world (OSC)
- Using Jitter in Live
Although the workshop was mainly conceived for theatre-technicians and the students of the Theaterakademie, we decided to open it up to the public for the remaining places.
A contribution of 150 Euros for the 3 days ( 100 Euros for just part two “Max for Live”) will be expected in form of a donation to the Bayerische Theaterakademie, payable in cash on the first day. A tax-deductible donation receipt will be given.
