Virus Polar case mod

Post by pedx1ng » Sat Feb 20, 2010 6:22 pm

This nutter took apart his Virus Polar to make a case modification:

At that link is also a vid showing his attempt at the Vangelis intro to Blade Runner. He uses Live by the way.

I never thought panels angled that much were all that ergonomic myself. It's an interesting mod, I just don't get why he did it.

Really? Have you used any like that? I ask because I haven't personally, but that style of form factor looks very functional to me. I don't like having to hunch over to read an LCD and tweak parameters, which I have to do on one of my keyboards. It seems that angled panel layout would be very handy for tweaking and playing. Alas, I cannot afford a Moog Voyager, for example, else I would try it out myself.
