What version of Live are you all using?

8.0.9 - scared to go further, probably just should'n read forums

just bought 7.0.18 after 3 years with 6.

reason was I needed compatibility with maschine (live templates for controlling session view with maschine, etc.), and I saw that multiple automation lanes were already implemented in live 7. and the sidechain facilities with the new compressor seems great, I can now get rid of my crappy free compression plugs

I'll go Live 9 if they make better midi edition tools, allow opening several clip editors at once, and dual screen support. Live 8 is a 100% NO GO for me. And it seems they can"t get it 100% working (what is the present beta update???? 8.1.12.23.4.2b.c.d.03 ?????? and 8 is out since, wait, about one year now?) it's a total shame they should refund the unhappy 8 users, or give free 9 upgrade when it's out...

I remember asking, "should I just go with 7 instead of 8" and people thought I was retarded.

Looks like that's what I should've done, now I'm stuck with 8, and I probably could've gotten 7 for like half the price on eBay or some shit.

there was a dblue glitch update (v 1305) released just a week or so ago.
Is it the latest version which is crashing 7.0.18 ?

crashes the odd time but then again it always has
would like to upgrade to 8 for more automation flexibility but at this stage ill probably wait for 9.....

..v7.0.18 is very stable for me.. you should try it

nah im not complaining really - i mean every version of Live i have used always crashed the odd time, id say its more down to using so many different plugins, ive just got used to it and save a lot
ill stick where i am for now
