Mbox Recognition

Hello,

I am a brand new Live user so I appologize in advance if my problem is not really a problem.

I have set up Live on my powerbook, OSX 10.3.8, and I have it hooked up to my Mbox. I want to start recording audio with live, but when I go to the audio preferences menu I cannot get any of the Mbox inputs or outputs to show up in the pulldown menus...only the core audio appears as a driver type.

In the MIDI/Sync menu however, pro tools inputs 1-4 show up under Active Devices output.

Any help would be appreciated...thanks for your time.

did you install the core audio driver? you will need it to run live on digidesign interfaces. once installed you can choose the MBox outputs in the preferences tab. now core audio driver will start automatically.
