i was surprised: the basic sound is pretty clear - nothing spectacular.
but you
can color your sound by driving the tubes hotter, of course.
the mic pre´s really blew my mind! they sound very direct, like in your face, if
you know what i mean
- compared to the focusrite green series preamps in the saffire wich are quite good already,
the channel strips with the fine EQs are a huge qualitiy gain.
so, i like the fattrack very much
it sounds very good, has handy features, is flexible ond so on,
but its not as much as coloful as you may expect
