I think so. It depends though. A lot of people don't appreciate that fact that dedicated Ableton Live controllers simply didn't exist 16 months ago. They'll say bad things about the APC40 any chance they get. But, I think it's great for the studio.

I think its great for the stage as well, don't forget the 'P' stands for, 'Performance'.....

I have an apc40, and its OK. Its less ok now that its little brother has note mode and the 40 does'nt. So don't buy it is my advice.
