i am since years the first time intrigued to get a new piece of gear, the maschine, it is such an awesome unit.
and i love the integration into all sorts of DAWs and Traktor / Serato, etc. plus it being a complete production center on it's own.
yum, i think i will dive into it soon...

Maschine 1.5 is totally f$%kin' AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
they have truly,really,totally nailed it.
ever since i started using the 1.5 beta,i was blown away by it.
sp1200 mode rocks,macro controls,so many hardware navigation functions added(zooming/scrolling waveforms,adding a sample layer,event editing)
,improved filters, grainstretch fximproved slicing plus adjusting individual slices from the hardware..
it truly almost feels like using a hardware device, like 98%.
the only thing it needs now is timestretch, and i will be happy ever after.
"bows"
thank you N.I.!!!!!!!!!!!!

arrrggghhh... i need to get maschine.
the saliva is already dropping outta my mouth.
and the built, the built, i am so sold on the physical built, none of that korg, akai, novation and god knows what cheap shit.
that was such a clever move not going to work with some known company and to truly design there own with a 100% german hardcore quality attitude.

Shame on you, SubFunk! Didn't you learn anything?
Re: Maschine 1.5 public beta is out!
nope.
and i am not going to click on the rick roll, my friend.
and why shame? because they did something damn good, well it is the real world out there and only because others seem to sleep...

It's just a link to that thread on consumerism and the idea that the *next* controller will solve all your problems.
Re: Maschine 1.5 public beta is out!
Haven't grabbed this yet. Can anyone report on stability - is it one of those betas that feels finished already or is it still pretty rough? I'm running OSX 10.5 and Live 7 btw.
Re: Maschine 1.5 public beta is out!
ahhh, well this is in years, really years the only piece of gear that really managed to create instantly lust of having it.sporkles wrote:Don't be so paranoid! It's not a Rick Roll - I would never do that to anyone. (And isn't that whole bit a little passé by now?)

and it totally fits my attempt to have a perfect ultra small travel studio and performance setup, maschine can be my DAW / Live controller and Traktor controller (loving my padKONTROL, which will be then redundant), all in one, plus making music anywhere... i have played around with it only once in a shop a few days back and it happened never to me that i was so instantly hooked like on a needle.
serious, i will starve to buy that asap.
and i see that NI is lately squashing the balls of the concurrence. i like that. makes the others have to work even harder.
and i am not gear mad, look at my humble, tiny and old setup, hasn't changed in years (in the post your setup/cat thread), all i really need, i have skills, that is what counts.
but maschine, damn... yumm.

This Maschine thing with its velocity sensing pads aswell as its now quite professional looking software has led me to believe that my APC40 is really quite redundant.
I believe MAschine really is filling the boots of the old hardware samplers and providing "big Screen" features.
NI know how important it is to hear your slices properly for example.( I am loving that proper slicing on an LCD screen business, reminds me of my old E6400)
Seems NI know its not all about the quick fix route of production but are providing the power to do it all very intuitively.
I also have a launchpad, its more useable than APC, but its missed a few tricks also.
But yeah that APC40, hmmm.
I feel ripped off now and have been for ages, its functionality is seriously limited. It can only launch clips and twist macros, which is Nothing compared to even Launchpad, Let alone the Note editing facilities available in Maschine. I have never used its faders, which SHOULD be motorized.
If I was CEO of Ableton I would be shitting my pants if only just for the falling behind with innovation in this case.
That "rework of LIve from the ground up" better be nearing completion!
Want....Maschine...now......

Re: Maschine 1.5 public beta is out!
I really need to stop reading this thread. EVERYTHING is screaming 'BUY MASCHINE! BUY MASCHINE!' yeet I have no money, and some gear that I'm already not using. Fail.
