Howdy please forgive the post but i,m stuck hear.

I need to phone Germany from the uk and despite add ing a zero to the beginiong of this number i cant get the phone to dial tone just keeps going dead
+49.30.61 10 35-1400

What am i missing hear . Why is there full stops in between the numbers at the begining of the line ? Do ineed to put them in on the number on the phone ?

It's 00 before adding the country code. Shouldn't be any full stops or anything like that.
