Rewire Engine Won't Install - OSX 10.5.8 & Logic 7

Hi There,

I've just got a new computer recently and a fresh new copy of Ableton Live 8...

I use Ableton Live 8 strictly in rewire slave mode, while using Logic 7 as my main production host.

On all my previous PowerMac's/G5's, when installing Ableton Live, it would automatically install the rewire engine. This would make it so that when choosing an audio channel in Logic, there would be an Ableton Rewire L+R Channel I could select that would properly rewire/stream Ableton's audio through logic.

Now, no Ableton rewire audio channel is appearing in Logic..

I've even just downloaded a separate demo copy of the Ableton 8 Full from the website, where it once again says every time that it's installing and/or initializing the rewire engine every time I open the program, but once again, I'm not able to select the Ableton Rewire L+R channel in Logic, which on all my past computers, always worked...

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Maybe it's something with the new OS ??

and a quick mini-update on this..

I've just tried installing old versions of ableton live demo's from the website.. tried versions 6 & 7 which both said their rewire engines were being installed during the first opening (as is the norm)

still no luck with anything appearing in logic 7..
