Haven't posted for a while, so unsure if people are aware of this feature/bug or not.
My EQ-8 defaults to Hi Quality, and I noticed that if I made a audio effect rack that had a compressor on one chain, and an eq on the other, that the tone changed. I put a utility plugin after the eq and reversed the phase and noticed that the signal did not cancel out completely.
I switched Hi Quality off on the eq-8 and the signal cancelled out completely.
ok. thanks. back to mucking about with compressor sidechains for me.
