where do I find those sounds ?

Post by aklisiewicz » Sun Mar 07, 2010 7:00 am

I'm looking for ethnic instruments (VST).
I need :

-scotisch bug pipes
-good sounding exoctic flute
-sitar
-additionaly I need to generate some nice male choir

so far all that's included with full Live Suite is not satisfactory, or some of those are simply unavailable

There's a nice sitar in Reason 4.. Same with some nice flutes, not sure if they are a part of some Refills I have installed but those were probably torrent'd anyways..

OH *#%&, did I say that out loud?

You should be able to get good sitar like sounds using the Tension instrument in Live Suite. I have, I tweaked the sitar preset to sound better.

Shakuhaci - jeepers, are we trying to do a cover of Peter Gabriel's 'Sledgehammer' or are we aiming to recreate a 1989 new world - Condor, King Of The Andes type album ;)

Should be many sample CDs with this type of sound.
