exporting problems in arrangement view

Hi Everyone,

I'm having a hell of a time exporting individual tracks from the arrangement view. I've read and reread both the manual, help, and focal press guides but can't get what I'm doing wrong.

I've recorded an installation from the session view that is of two automated tracks. These are captured in the arrangement view, and I just want to export each track (in arrangement so I get the sequence of the clip follows) separately.

Problem is, that when I select track one (called 'original') it records the master (ie both). Same for the second track. When I export out all tracks...I only get the first seven or so minutes of each track, and those too are master!

What am I doing wrong!

ps...I've tried soloing one and still having issues.

Ha! Live 8 must be f(*king with me, because two seconds after posting this, it works...why or how, I DONT KNOW.
