automation from arrange page to clip view?

Hi all,
Iv been reading this forum for a while now for information and news regarding all things ableton but havnt actually posted anything, so hello again!

Im hoping someone could help me with a little problem. Im trying to copy all the automation that Iv done using the macros in a part from the arrange page to the clip view. Now Iv worked out how to do this by copying each lane individually, but cant work out how (or if??) you can just copy the whole lot (e.g clip 4 lanes of information etc) all in one go!! this would be a lot of help as its getting a bit monotomous doing it one part at a time.

Any help would be appriciated.

You read my mind mate- its a pain in the proverbial anus hole!!! Whats also annoying is for the automation to work as it is laid in the arrange view you then need the positioning of the hardware Macro's to be turned 100%, otherwise the automated line, be it a filter or what have you, will only move relative to the positioning of that macro controller, so if the macro is at 50%, a 50 % wet/dry value for a send effect would only move up to 25%...As far as I'm aware- if that makes any sense??... I know its not quite the same but you can always do an audio Mixdown with all your automation written into the audio, but probably not what you're after!

best of luck though - maybe one for Live 9...

Yes sdmiddleton that makes perfect sense! its funny almost, cus it took me about an hour to work out that I had to turn the macros up to 100% after copying and pasting automation about 10 times!!!

Perhaps in a future update or live9 they can implement a "save all automation with clip" button or something???
