it's not supposed to be very good and i'm pretty sure it's been discontinued.

Seemed like a great concept but poorly executed (numerous complaints of hum etc).It is meant to work well with Live.
A similar concept but better quality is the Yamaha N12.
I wonder will Korg revise the line at Musikmesse? I'd love to see them come back with a 2.0 edition of this product with the following features :
- No hum/hiss issues
- Ability to have insert FX on every channel.
- 12 channels / faders
- Studio quality converters (ie as good as the RME Fireface / Yamaha N12)
- Proper Kaoss pad interface (or better 2 - one on either side)
Otherwise I'll just get the Yamaha N12 which has most of the features of the Zero 8 (excluding Kaoss pad)

And I'm assuming the size of DJ style mixers is based on the standard "it will fit in this case/coffin", but it sure would be nice if they started making these with a smaller lighter footprint.
